General Guidlines
We ask that parents use good judgment and abide by general traffic laws while on school grounds. This includes parking in Handicap spaces when not legally prohibited, leaving a vehicle parked on sidewalks or outside of designated parking spots, leaving children in unattended vehicles, etc.
- Students are not permitted in the school building before 9:05 a.m. or after 3:45 p.m.
- Follow staff directions and drive vehicles to the furthest open area to allow more parents to pick up or drop off their children.
- Please wait until your vehicle has reached the designated drop-off zone to allow your child to exit the vehicle.
- Be aware of students and staff members who are using the crosswalk areas.
- Do not drive through the crosswalk area when students, parents, or staff are crossing.
- Please help your child learn how to quickly recognize and safely enter or exit on the passenger (school) side of your vehicle.
- For student safety and efficiency, parents are NOT allowed to enter the building for am drop off or afternoon dismissal.
- All students are provided a transportation tag to attach to their backpacks.
Parents must complete the Student Afternoon Transportation form each school year. The form will be used to determine the MAIN way your student(s) will go home on each school day. We understand that throughout the year schedules are likely to change. When that is the case, please fill out an absence request via Campus Portal or call the school office at 763-274-7230. Students with alternating/weekly changes to transportation schedules must call the office each week.
